In accordance with Level 5 COVID-19 guidelines, from Sunday, December 27th 2020, Sligo Library will be providing an Online Access Service, ONLY.
Our counter and Call & Collect services are suspended during Level 5.
Items on loan will be auto-renewed.

Upcoming events in Ballymote Library
To further encourage reader development among our customers, Sligo Libraries have a number of Book clubs set up in various branches. These clubs promote the pleasures of reading and develop the members appreciation of literature at all levels.
Library Clubs and Groups
Ballymote Book Club
Ballymote Book Club meet at 3pm to 4pm on the last Thursday of every month.
Saturday Stitchers
Saturday Stitchers – knitting, crochet and embroidery group meet on Saturday mornings at 11am until 1pm.
Documentary Club
- Documentary Club – meet 5pm to 7pm every Thursday evening.
Crafty Catch Up
The Crafty Catch Up meet on a Tuesday from 3pm to 4.30pm.
Afternoon Film Club
The Afternoon Film Club meet every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm.
Parent and Toddler Group
Parent and Toddler Group meet Thursday mornings from 11am to 12pm.
Local Artist’s Group
Local Artist’s Group meet every second Friday from 11am to 1pm.
The Dyslexic Working Group
The Dyslexic Working Group meeting Tuesday weekly 4.30pm-5.30pm.
