C-Pen Readers available for loan from Sligo Libraries

C-Pen Readers are available for three week loans from your local Sligo County Library Branch.

C-Pen Readers are pocket-sized reading pens that read text out loud with a human-like digital voice. They were designed to promote independent learning and are a technological breakthrough for adults and children with reading difficulties such as dyslexia or aphrasia, learners who are neurodiverse, those learning languages, and those with vision problems.

The in-built dictionary aids in reading comprehension as well. Simply pass the nib across a word and it instantly displays the definition and reads it aloud.

To reserve one for a loan period of three weeks contact your local library branch.
