A Day of FREE Creativity for Children and Young People
Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people. Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Delivered in partnership with the 31 Local Authorities and supported by RTÉ, you are invited to participate in a programme of fun, free, creative activities and workshops!

| 11th April ————- 12noon to 1.30pm | Creative Art Workshop with Lisa Canon: Beaded Jewellery ————- Ages 6-12 | Design and create your own beautiful beaded jewellery! In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, participants will explore colour, pattern and texture while making bracelets, necklaces or keyrings to take home. With a wide selection of beads and charms to choose from, everyone can create something with their own unique flair. |

| 18th April ————- 12noon to 1.30pm | Creative Art Workshop with Lisa Canon: Crazy Carnival Masks ————- Ages 6-12 | Get bold, bright and brilliantly bonkers! In this hands-on workshop, children will design and create their own oversized carnival mask using cardboard, vibrant colours, fun patterns and 3D details. From wild shapes to googly eyes and textured decorations, every mask will be totally unique and bursting with personality. Perfect for creative kids who love to experiment, play with colour and think outside the box! |
| 25th April ————- 12noon to 1.30pm | MakerMeet Workshop: Fabulous Flight ————- Ages 7+ | Explore flight and some forms and ways to fly. During the workshop, participants build at least 2 types of airplanes which they can take home. |
| 9th May ————- 12noon to 1.30pm | MakerMeet Workshop: Cardboard Creations ————- Ages 7+ | Using special reusable Scru’s and child-friendly tools, students can follow along with us as we show you how to make a variety of different objects such as buildings, robots and more! |

| 9th May 16th May 23rd May ————- 2pm to 4pm | 3-Part Drama Workshop with Órla McSharry ————- Ages 8-12 ————- **This is a 3 part workshop, children will need to attend all sessions as well as the performance on Saturday 6th June at 12.30pm, and rehearsal on Friday 5th June (time TBC)** | Join Órla Mc Sharry in a series of workshops where participants will explore and participate in an original piece of drama and then perform it live in the Marquee on Cruinniú na nÓg Day! |
