The Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Gerard Mullaney, along with Johan Brannefalk and Lukas Browning Lagerfeldt of Sligo Rovers F.C. joined 3rd class students from St. John’s National School Sligo as they picked up their first rewards, along with their teacher, Cathy Keaney.
The Summer Stars Reading Challenge is a fun way to encourage reading during the Summer holiday.s Children can record their reading, share book reviews and get involved in library events and competitions.
Children of all ages can take part in this FREE programme.

* Anyone4Science Bee Workshop
* Creative Writing Workshop for Young Adults with Sarah O’Keefe
* Chess Workshop with Craig Dubose
* Nature Workshop with Naomi Horler
* Weekly Storytime each Thursday at 10am
