Sligo Central Library will be facilitating an event with Archaeologist Jeff O’Neill on Saturday November 11th 12.30pm-2.30pm
In this two hour seminar we plan to introduce participants to various online resources for researching archaeology and monuments in their area. We will look at some online databases that have a wealth of information and how to use them. We will also look at various online mapping sources and examine aerial imagery. You will be given a small exercise to complete to support learning objectives. This will be a relaxed informal training session and suitable for those with no prior knowledge of archaeology, some basic computer skills required.
