The Little Library at Bedtime initiative runs from October to the end of December 2023.
All families with a child aged 0-4 are invited to visit their local library to receive a FREE bedtime story book and library card wallet. This exciting initiative aims to engage all parents of young children to read stories with them at bedtime.
If your child is not currently a member, we welcome you to sign them up for a free library membership when you visit the library, or online at https://sligolibrary.ie/how-to-join/ (please bring a guardian’s photo ID and proof of address for new accounts).
The Little Library Book at Bedtime initiative is part of the First 5 Strategy (https://www.gov.ie/en/campaigns/5d81e-about-first5/), in collaboration with public libraries and the Local Government Management Agency.
