The ‘story sack’ concept was developed in 1995 by a former head teacher and now author, Neil Griffiths
It consists of a cloth bag with a good quality book and supporting materials to prompt further learning
A story sack is about bringing the book to life for children and having fun!
Create your very own Storysack:
Choose a book
Design your own bag
Fill your bag with toys, puzzles, blankets, trinkets, photographs, pictures, lyrics – anything you like
What we provide:
Books – bring your own or choose one of ours
Bag – we can supply a tote bag, or you can bring your own choice
Art material – paper, paint, glitter, scissors, or, you can bring in your own ideas.
